It is something of a tradition in author Joe Lansdale’s Texas-set Hap and Leonard crime thrillers for the character of military vet Leonard Pine to periodically burn his neighborhood crackhouse to the ground. And that tradition is continued by SundanceTV’s adaptation of Lansdale’s works, judging by a just-released clip from the show’s third season, Hap and Leonard: The Two-Bear Mambo, which premieres on SundanceTV on March 7.
This third adventure for Michael Kenneth Williams and James Purefoy’s heroes finds the pair scrambling to locate Florida Grange (Tiffany Mack), who has gone missing in the Klan-infested town of Grovetown. Hap and Leonard: The Two-Bear Mambo costars Louis Gossett Jr. (An Officer and a Gentleman, Roots), Corbin Bernsen (L.A. Law, Psych), Andrew Dice Clay (Blue Jasmine), Laura Allen (American Horror Story: Cult), and musician Curtis Harding.
