Watch the actress leap over journalist Bill Whitaker to protect her art
Jennifer Lawrence had a blast from the past during her profile on Sunday’s 60 Minutes.
When Lawrence took CBS correspondent journalist Bill Whitaker to meet her girlfriends, they hit her with a surprise: an unearthed self-portrait Lawrence had painted when she was 16.
Lawrence was so surprised, she charged across the room to hide the portrait from the cameras. As Whitaker pointed out, “you literally jumped over me to get to this picture.” But, of course, it was all in jest: Lawrence said that such “laughing therapy” is what keeps her sane amid the craziness of Hollywood.
Watch the full 60 Minutes video above; the self-portrait scene starts around 10:47.
