The Assassination of Gianni Versace meets Migos’ “Versace” in a new mashup rap remix from James Corden.

After sharing his newfound obsession for Ryan Murphy’s second season of American Crime Story, the host of The Late Late Show spliced together clips from the anthology series with the hip-hop hit from the Grammy nominee.

“Honestly, I can’t wait for next week’s episode to just get back to the Versace storyline,” Corden said, “and if it’s anything like the first two episodes, you’ll never forget who this show is all about.”

The mashup (around the 4:05 mark of the video above) works so well as characters shout the name Versace, while Migos raps “Versace.” This is Corden’s cue to release an expanded version.

As an added bonus, the clip ends with Kanye West spouting off about Versace during an interview with BBC Radio 1. “We all love Versace,” he exclaims.

Corden’s love for The Assassination of Gianni Versace also extends to its use of tank tops and pink decor. “To be fair, the show is sponsored by Pepto-Bismol, so integration,” he joked. “But nothing captures the moment more than the sheer amount of tank tops on this show.”
