Celebrity Big Brother: Omarosa claims she tried to stop Trump from tweeting
America, Omarosa tried.
In this sneak peek from Thursday night’s episode of Celebrity Big Brother, Omarosa Manigault tells fellow houseguest Ross Mathews that she really, truly tried to keep President Donald Trump away from social media, but “all of the people around him attacked me.”
“I was haunted by tweets every single day,” she tells Mathews. “Who has that power to say what’s going on? It’s not my circus, not my monkeys.”
She also explains why she went to work for the White House. “I felt like it was like a call to duty,” Manigault explains. “I felt like I was serving my country, not serving him.”
In January, the White House announced that Manigault resigned from her position as the director of communications for the Office of Public Liaison, but the Secret Service didn’t deny reports that she was forcibly removed from the grounds in December.
The second episode of Celebrity Big Brother airs tonight at 8 p.m. ET on CBS. The first live eviction occurs tomorrow at 8 p.m.
