Bindi Irwin used the Super Bowl to remind the world of her super dad.

During Sunday’s game, the famous daughter of the late Steve Irwin tweeted an emotional video showing her father getting choked up as he talked about his legacy. “My first time watching this footage was only a few days ago,” the 19-year-old wrote. “I don’t think I’ll ever be able to describe the amount of emotion in my heart once the video ended. My dad. My superhero. I promise to do my best to make you proud and ensure your legacy lives on forever.”

In the video, Steve Irwin uses a football analogy to explain when it would be time to give up crocodile hunting for good: “When my children can take the football I call wildlife conservation and run it up,” he says, eyes filling with tears. “When they’re ready to run up our vision, I will gladly step aside.”

Russell Crowe also commented on the teenager’s tweet:

In October, it was announced that Bindi Irwin, together with her mom Terri and her brother Robert, will become global ambassadors for Discovery Communications, which owns Animal Planet. They will develop and produce television projects for the channel.
