I’m emitting a scream so loud and high pitched only animals can hear it: Ben Platt, Barbra Streisand and Gwyneth Paltrow are potentially all going to be working together on The Politician, a comedy from Glee creators Ryan Murphy, Brad Falcuk, and Ian Brennan.

Platt, who won a Tony last year for his role in Dear Evan Hansen, would play the lead character and each season would be a different political race he’s involved in. It’s unclear who Paltrow or Streisand would play, but who cares — GWYNETH AND BARBRA ARE CO-STARRING IN A NETFLIX SERIES.

According to Deadline, Streisand will also direct some episodes(!) and Platt is expected to have musical numbers.

Paltrow won on an Emmy for her role as Holly Holliday on Glee and is engaged to co-creator Falchuk.

The Politician is the second Murphy/Netflix project after Ratched, his Nurse Ratched origin story series with Sarah Paulson. According to Deadline, The Politician is also picked up for two seasons like Ratched.
