A Hawaii Five-0 actor will be doing some rounds at The Good Doctor.
EW has learned exclusively that Will Yun Lee, last seen playing a snitch on Hawaii Five-0, will join the freshman medical drama as an ex-cop named Alex Park who has decided to become a doctor. Alex’s former profession comes in handy as he demonstrates to the other residents that he has a keen ability to read people.
The arc reunites him with Daniel Dae Kim, the former star of Hawaii Five-0 who now executive produces The Good Doctor for ABC. Lee’s episodes will air in February.
“I’m excited to watch Will bring this new character to life,” Kim said in a statement to EW. “Not only is he a talented actor, he’s a consummate pro who makes a great addition to our already exceptional cast. We’re lucky to have him.”
Besides recurring on Hawaii Five-0, Lee is set to star in the futuristic drama Altered Carbon for Netflix. It debuts in February.
The Good Doctor airs Mondays at 10 p.m. ET on ABC.
