American Horror Story fans were thrown into a tizzy on Friday when series co-creator Ryan Murphy announced at TCA that season 8 would be set in the future.

Murphy has now revealed to EW that his long-time star (and muse) Sarah Paulson would have a very specific look for this installment. “Sarah Paulson is very excited about the dental appliances she will be wearing on the show,” teases Murphy.

Over the course of seven seasons so far, Paulson has been through a variety of transformations, including conjoined twins Bette and Dot (Freak Show) and blind Supreme witch Cordelia (Coven).

It’s unclear what sort of tooth horror Paulson will be facing but Murphy says next season will haunt viewers. “It’s set in the near future,” says the producer. “It has nothing to do with anything you’ve ever seen before. It’s really chilling.”

American Horror Story 8 will premiere on FX sometime in 2018.
