Archie Panjabi has booked a return trip to Blindspot, EW has learned exclusively.

The Good Wife alum joined the show in season 2 as Nas Kamal, the head of a secret off-book division of the NSA who aligned with the FBI to take down Sandstorm. She also briefly had a fling with Kurt (Sullivan Stapleton), before ultimately leaving by taking the fall for the team when AUSA Weitz opened an investigation into their mistakes in hunting Sandstorm. She returned briefly in the season 2 finale when Shepherd was arrested and placed in Nas’ custody.

“We’re so elated to have the tremendous Archie Panjabi back for a very exciting one-off episode this year!” executive producer Martin Gero tells EW. “I can’t say much about what will happen in the episode yet, but Nas will play a small but integral part in bringing down the bad guys this year.”

The Emmy-winning actress will appear in an episode slated for the second half of the season.

Blindspot airs Fridays at 8 p.m. ET on NBC.
