Hulu cancels Billy Eichner, Julie Klausner comedy Difficult People after 3 seasons

Hulu has some difficult news for Billy Eichner fans.

The streaming service has canceled Eichner and Julie Klausner’s Difficult People after 3 seasons, EW has confirmed.

In the Hulu original comedy series, the duo played fictionalized versions of themselves, who were best friends and aspiring comedians living in New York City.

Created by Klausner, Difficult People, which aired its final episode in late September, featured an impressive guest cast over its 28 episodes, including John Cho, Kate McKinnon, Fred Armisen, Seth Meyers, Lin-Manuel Miranda, John Mulaney, Tina Fey, and Amy Poehler, who also served as an executive producer.
