Katy Perry discovers the truth about her own Twitter profile, thanks to Neil deGrasse Tyson
Perry also confesses to a pair of dead celebrity crushes on this week's episode of 'StarTalk'
It’s not every day you learn something new about your own Twitter profile. But that’s just what Neil deGrasse Tyson does: He blows minds. And he certainly does just that with Katy Perry on this week’s episode of StarTalk.
We won’t totally spoil the exclusive clip above, but here’s just a taste of what happens when these two electrons collide:
NDT: Isaac Newton discovered it.
KP: Love him.
NDT: I love me some Isaac Newton.
KP: I have a crush on him and Socrates.
NDT: Is that right? Oh, wait a minute. Oh, so that accounts for your one-phrase bio on your Twitter page: “I know nothing.”
KP: What do you mean?!
NDT: That’s Socrates. Plato, via Socrates.
Perry goes on to talk about her insatiable thirst for knowledge, admitting, “The more that I learn, the more that I realize I know nothing.” Tyson’s response gets rather deep. You’ll have to watch the clip above to see it.
StarTalk with Neil deGrasse Tyson airs Sundays at 11 p.m. on National Geographic.
