Comedian and winner of Last Comic Standing Iliza Shlesinger’s new book Girl Logic: The Genius and the Absurdity is out now and she’s hoping it’ll solve all your problems.

In her visit to Entertainment Weekly: The Show, Shlesinger — and her dog Blanche — earnestly answers fan questions using only Girl Logic from her book to see if it helps.

“I like to look well-dressed at the office, but all the prep it takes to get ready in the morning makes me late for work,” one Twitter user asks. “What’s more important – looking your best, or being on time?”

Though Shlesinger notes that we don’t live in a world where we can do both, she breaks it down with some Girl Logic.

“So your Girl Logic is going to tell you to get dressed and put a lot of effort into it,” explains the author and comedian. “But your Girl Logic is always going to tell you that you’re going to be judged for that effort. So the answer is, you should always be on time and not look like a monster.”

But … it’s fine if you live in L.A., she says: “Looking like a garbage can means you have a lot of money.”

Girl Logic: The Genius and the Absurdity is available everywhere now. Get more of Shlesinger’s Girl Logic in the video above.
