Search Party season 2: See Dory and her friends bury a body
- TV Show
When Search Party returns to TBS for a second season later this month, you’re going to find out right away right away where the bodies are buried. Or at least where they’re going to bury the body.
Dory (Alia Shawkat) and her friends have literal blood on their hands after her (ex-)boyfriend Drew (John Reynolds) used a little too much blunt force in subduing hungry PI-in-training Keith (Ron Livingston). It is fair to say that the search for the presumed-kidnapped-or-murdered Chantal (Clare McNulty) has gone way off the rails, given that we learned in the mystery comedy’s season 1 finale that she was neither kidnapped nor murdered, but was rather hiding out in Canada after a break-up. But now they need to hide the evidence of their misdeeds quickly, as you will see in this first-look clip from the season premiere. It’s not easy to dispose of a body. “Digging a grave is such a weird way to end my day,” whines Portia (Meredith Hagner), as Elliott (John Early) sums it all perfectly: “I don’t understand — how is this pile of dirt so big but this hole is so small????”
