Ellen DeGeneres’ annual tradition of sending her The Ellen DeGeneres Show executive producer Andy Lassner through a haunted house continues, and this time, he is accompanied by American Horror Story star Sarah Paulson.

Throughout their visit to the AHS-themed haunted house, the two attempted to encourage one another to keep pushing forward, though they frequently struggled with each other’s ability to keep it together. “You’re giving me advice? You’re the worst,” Paulson joked, after Lassner gave her a pre-entrance pep talk. “I know what’s going to happen – you’re gonna jump and squeal, and you’re gonna make noises like my grandma!”

DeGeneres has famously tortured Lassner every Halloween since 2013, when he made two trips with a writer from the show. These were followed by another in 2014 with Lassner’s assistant, two with Modern Family‘s Eric Stonestreet in 2015, and two more in 2016 (one with his assistant again and the other with Ariana Grande).

For what it’s worth, DeGeneres also scared Sarah Paulson three times during her visit to the show in September. Even though the host might have some karma coming her way sooner or later, it’s hard not to enjoy all of this great footage. We just hope for Lassner’s sake that there is a nice bonus check involved for all of his work.
