See Sylvester Stallone react to Kevin's Rocky impression on This Is Us
This Is Us
- TV Show
This week on This Is Us, things turn rather Rocky, as Sylvester Stallone reports for guest-star duty as himself.
Stallone is starring with Kevin (Justin Hartley) in a war movie directed by Ron Howard, and their time together just might bring up some issues for Kevin about Jack's death.
Kevin's twin sister, Kate, will swing by the set to get a little (or a lot) star-struck by the action-movie legend; after all, Jack (Milo Ventimiglia) loved Stallone's movies. It's crazy to think that Kevin is now acting opposite him! Maybe he even can do an impression of Rocky Balboa! Oh, you know what would be really awkward? If Stallone busted him while Kevin was showing it off to Kate.

Speaking this past summer, Ventimiglia explained that he pitched Stallone on the idea of appearing. "I said, ‘Listen, my son … You are his movie idol, but you gotta wonder where he gets it from. He gets it from dad.' And so his involvement was a very big part of my character's storyline, of Jack's storyline, which meant a lot to me because Sly is one of my idols and I got to work with him," Ventimiglia, who starred as Stallone's onscreen son in Rocky Balboa, said.
"Highs and Lows" airs Tuesday at 9 p.m. ET/PT on NBC.
