You can talk about those last four words all you want
Gilmore Girls fans and coffee-drinkers alike: time to pack your bags and head back to
Stars Hollow Kent, Connecticut.
In two weeks, the three-day festival will bring all your favorite Gilmoreisms to life, and with it some of the show’s stars (Lane! Miss Patty!), a sing-a-long with Gilmore Musical God Carole King’s daughter Louise Goffin, and a cake tasting.
Fun fact: Kent is known as one of the best places to witness the magic of fall. And, obviously, Gilmore Girls is the best fall show out there.
Dreamt up in 2016 by two fans themselves, Jennie and Marcus Whitaker, the festival is expected to be an entirely different experience than the inaugural festival last fall.
“Last year, we received an abundance of praise from everyone involved, from the fans to the cast, which made the decision to put on this year’s festival easy for us,” said Marcus Whitaker. “Jennie and I have learned a lot from our time in Connecticut and for us, anytime you can have fun while learning something new you’ve done the right thing.”
The Gilmore Girls Fan Fest will take place in Kent from Oct. 20-22. For tickets and more information on the weekend’s events, click here.
