Jason Alexander tweets support to Seinfeld costar Julia Louis-Dreyfus after breast cancer diagnosis
There’s been no shortage of love for Veep actress Julia Louis-Dreyfus, and it keeps on pouring in.
On Friday morning, Louis-Dreyfus’ Seinfeld costar Jason Alexander tweeted his support for Elaine Benes after the news of her breast cancer diagnosis broke. “So sorry you have to go thru this, pal, but I know you will prevail,” wrote Alexander, “We are here if/when you need and we love you.”
On Thursday, the Emmy Award-winning actress revealed on social media that she had been diagnosed with breast cancer and cited how lucky she is to have the love and support of family and friends, pointedly stating in her announcement, “The bad news is that not all women are so lucky, so let’s fight all cancers and make universal health care a reality.”
In addition to Alexander and other celebs, Louis-Dreyfus also received support from a fellow veep. Former Vice President Joe Biden tweeted out well wishes from himself and the Biden family.
