NBC wants more Marlon.

The network has ordered a second season of the comedy, which recently wrapped its 10-episode freshman run.

The series is inspired by the real life of Marlon Wayans, who serves as co-creator and star. The Scary Movie alum plays Marlon Wayne, a loving, but often inappropriate, divorced father of two. His attempts to co-parent his children with his ex-wife (Essence Atkins) are often complicated by his misguided advice and larger-than-life personality.

“The backdrop is divorce, but the show is really about love and family,” Wayans previously told EW. “All of the characters are based on people from my life.”

Marlon‘s renewal keeps the count of Wayans brothers on network TV at two, as Damon Wayans stars in Fox’s Lethal Weapon. You’re up, Shawn!
