Everybody’s favorite astrophysicist is once again tackling a pop culture hit with a critical eye. Neil deGrasse Tyson took a look at the physics of HBO’s Game of Thrones season 7 with a series of playful tweets on Sunday, tackling issues ranging from the probable heat output of a zombie dragon to dragon wingspan to the Night King’s lake chains (no comment, however, on Gendry’s sprinting speed).

Which explains how Viserion was able to bring down The Wall with relative ease…

Tyson also threw in this politically timely observation:

Being critiqued by Tyson is a bit of an honor as it means he took a Hollywood tale seriously enough and thought it was realistic enough to give it some actual consideration. He previously tackled the movies Gravity and Interstellar.
