The main titles for Star Trek: Discovery are boldly going where no Trek credit sequence has gone before.
CBS just posted the show’s credits sequence, above, which is a huge departure from the other shows in the 51-year-old franchise. Like, there’s no inky black outer space, for starters. Instead, the show has opted for an illustrated and design-intensive sequence.
Discovery premieres Sunday at 8:30 p.m. ET on CBS as part of a unique two-part roll out that continues on CBS All Access — go here for details on how, when and where to watch.
