Mandy Moore's fiancé has met the This Is Us cast: 'We all really love each other'
Plus: What Moore's TV husband thinks of Taylor Goldsmith
Mandy Moore's fiancé, Taylor Goldsmith, has met her television family — including her onscreen husband.
Moore and her This Is Us costars Milo Ventigmilia and Sterling K. Brown appeared on Monday's episode of The Ellen DeGeneres Show to discuss the new season (which premieres Tuesday at 9 p.m. ET) as well as Moore's recent announcement.
"He's met the whole cast," she said of Goldsmith. "Everybody is very close. Everyone's significant other and what-not. We're like one big family. We really are, as cheesy and gross as that sounds, we all really love each other."
Asked if he had given his blessing to Moore's engagement, Ventimiglia — who plays Moore's onscreen husband on the NBC hit — joked that he hadn't been consulted.
"I didn't get asked for her hand in marriage, TV husband. But at the same time, I was okay with it," Ventimiglia joked. He added that both Moore and Goldsmith made a great couple "We're all very happy," Ventimiglia said.

Moore and Goldsmith have been together for more than two years. Earlier this month, her This Is Us costar Chris Sullivan revealed the news and said Moore told the cast via text.
"She just sent out an alert over our family text chain, so I can't wait to hear about it," he said. "She just sent a photo and just wanted us all to know that this just happened, and so then we went on a response spree for about a day and a half."
Goldsmith is a musician primarily known for the indie rock band Dawes.
This Is Us returns on Tuesday for its second season.
