Late Night with Seth Meyers - Season 5

Seth Meyers is concerned the White House can’t afford to lose Jared Kushner, a.k.a. “the White Steve Harvey.”

On Wednesday’s Late Night, the host took “A Closer Look” at Robert Mueller’s continued investigation into the alleged ties between the Donald Trump presidential campaign and administration and Russia. With Mueller apparently “going for the kill,” it appears Donald Trump’s son-in-law and senior advisor could be a liability considering his failure to disclose past meetings with Russian officials.

Reports of the president’s lawyers suggesting Kushner should resign has Meyers worried since Kushner has been put in charge of so many impossible and crucial tasks. After reading the long list, which includes “Revamping the Entire Federal Government” and “Peace in the Middle East,” Meyers made an interesting comparison. “Jared Kushner has more jobs than Steve Harvey,” he opined. “He’s the White Steve Harvey.”
