This Is Us highlight reel: How many times will you cry in 100 seconds?

This Is Us made quite a name for itself in season 1 with a parade of Kleenex moments. (Sorry, Scott tissues — I’m sure you get the job done, too!) Before season 2 begins on Sept. 26, This Is Us wants to totally ruin your face again by subjecting you to this 100-second highlight reel of powerhouse emotional moments, pegged to the release of the season 1 DVD on Sept. 12.

The lemonade speech Dr. K (Gerald McRaney, who just won a guest-actor Emmy for his performance) administered to Jack (Milo Ventimiglia)? Rebecca (Mandy Moore) admitting to Randall (Sterling K. Brown) that she knew William (Ron Cephas Jones) all these years? Randall starting to forgive Rebecca for what happened in the previous sentence? Beth (Susan Kelechi Watson) telling her husband that William doesn’t have a lot of time? Kate (Chrissy Metz) reluctantly breaking up with Toby (Chris Sullivan)? Jack trying to win Rebecca back with, “You were not only my great love story, you were my big break”? These moments are strung together for the sole purpose of flooding your tear ducts all over again.

No, the scene in which Kevin (Justin Hartley) ditches his play to rush to the aid of Randall isn’t here, but you will re-see him poignantly admitting to Randall on the phone, “I care whatever everyone thinks.” And if you care what other people think, maybe you’re best off watching this montage in private, where your tears can’t be judged.
