ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live" - Season 15

Kristen Bell is a ray of sunshine during Hurricane Irma. The Frozen star, after serenading a group of Floridians and palling around with senior citizens amid the storm, brought her new friends on Jimmy Kimmel Live via telecast. “We’ve been making the most of a crazy situation,” she told the late-night host with her buddies Gary and “side piece” John by her side.

Gary, “the main man” running the roost at Disney World’s Swan and Dolphin Resort, has been “running toilet paper to peoples’ rooms” and handing out water. “It’s so full service here,” Bell joked. And John is her “side piece” in Orlando. “I’m swarmed under with beautiful women,” he said, cozying up to Bell. “I’ll never be the same,” he quipped.

Bell had been filming a movie in Florida when the area was evacuated due to Irma, but she’s been keeping up everyone’s spirits as best she can. Bell performed a few songs for a group of children and their parents at Meadow Woods Middle School, which was turned into a shelter; she “literally saved” Josh Gad’s family members by getting them a room at her hotel when they were stranded; and she’s been playing bingo and emceeing wheel chair races with senior citizens.

“There are a few thousand senior residents who evacuated to our hotel. We are gonna make lemonade outta Irma as best we can and I’m fueling up the only way I know how in order to call a few hours of BINGO,” she wrote on Instagram Monday. She also posted more videos of her and John singing “You Are My Sunshine.”

“I hope you understand. I’m powerless over a man who serenades me,” Bell wrote.

Kimmel took the words right out of our mouths: “Kristen, you really are the best.”
