A familiar face is returning to Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. in season 5.

Nick Blood will reprise his role as former S.H.I.E.L.D. Agent Lance Hunter, EW has learned exclusively.

Blood made his debut in season 2 as the mercenary-turned-S.H.I.E.L.D. agent who was formerly married to Bobbi Morse (Adrianne Palicki). The duo was disavowed by S.H.I.E.L.D. in season 3 as Palicki and Blood were set to star in a spin-off, Most Wanted, that ABC ultimately passed on. Get the scoop on what would’ve been here and here.

Details on what brings Blood back, or even how long he’ll be sticking around, are being kept tightly under wraps, but EW has an exclusive first look at Blood back on set.
