Over the course of her career, Lisa Edelstein has filmed a lot of sex scenes. So, if anyone is an expert in the awkwardness of watching sex scenes, she is.

She sat down with Entertainment Weekly: The Show to deliver what she calls the Girlfriends’ Guide to Awkward Sex Scenes, saying, “Due to my extensive experience in this manner, I will now do a segment called, ‘How to make watching sex scenes less weird for everyone you know especially when you’re watching with them.'”

Edelstein went through a variety of scenarios, including watching with your boss, your roommates, and your parents. Though she revealed that the most awkward scenario she’s ever found herself in was when she found herself on an airplane where every screen was playing a sex scene between her and Hugh Laurie on House.

“I just put my invisibility cloak on,” she joked.

The star also shared a funny video of her covering her father’s eyes during another awkward viewing experience. For the full guide, check out the clip above.

Girlfriends’ Guide to Divorce is currently airing its final season on Bravo on Thursdays at 10 p.m. ET.
