In Westeros, the last thing anyone expects is a happy ending.

But in the video above, the cast of Game of Thrones attempts to imagine some for their characters anyway. Aidan Gillen, who plays Littlefinger, surmises that a satisfying closure for Petyr Baelish would mean seeing his plans “come to fruition,” while Iain Glen (a.k.a. Jorah) says he would simply like to survive.

As for Jon Snow, the King in the North thinks his happy ending would involve doing as much as he knows. That is to say, nothing: “Happy is a strange word to attribute to Jon Snow,” Kit Harington admits. “I think [a happy ending would be] just being around with a cup of mead with his sisters and siblings, and no Night King, no battles, just peace and quiet.” Peace and quiet in the Seven Kingdoms? Good luck with that one.

Game of Thrones‘ season 7 finale airs Sunday at 9 p.m. ET on HBO.
