Dirk Gently season 2 trailer is predictably bananas

The first season of Dirk Gently’s Holistic Detective Agency had crazy to spare and supplies of that quality don’t seem to be running out in season 2, if the show’s new trailer is any indication. As for what the new season is about, well, per the official synopsis, when vast dangers lurking in the fantasy realm navigate a path to Earth, becoming a threat in reality, it’s up to Samuel Barnett’s Dirk and the gang to stop them in their tracks. But first? They need to find each other.

As we said: crazy.

Dirk Gently costars Eliah Wood, Jade Eshete, Hannah Marks, Mpho Koaho, Fiona Dourif, Dustin Milligan, Michael Eklund, Osric Chau, Viv Leacock, Zak Santiago, John Hannah, Amanda Walsh, Issie Steele, and Aleks Paunovic. This season will also see a reunion of the two stars from big screen horror-comedy Tucker and Dale vs Evil, thanks to the presence of new cast members Tyler Labine and Alan Tudyk.

Season 2 premieres Saturday, Oct. 14, at 9 p.m. ET, on BBC America.
