Leslie Jones already went toe-to-toe with human lie detector Dr. Phil, but how did Keegan-Michael Key and Jimmy Fallon fair when trying to crack the Saturday Night Live Emmy nominee’s poker face? Not well.

The trio got together on The Tonight Show on Tuesday for a few rounds of True Confessions, complete with prop coffee (not actual coffee as Key found out) and prop ash trays. Each read a statement from a sealed envelope, while the other two had to guess if it actually happened or if it was a ruse.

Detective Jones figured out pretty quickly that Key did in fact dress as a caveman for a singing telegram company and that Fallon did not ride on the back of a jet ski with Madonna. But the gents could not see through the comedienne’s lie about getting a horseback ride from a “Fabio-lish” stranger during the 2016 Rio Games.

The game was worth it just to see Jones and Key riff off one another.

“Oh, they didn’t talk,” she said in deciphering Fallon’s confession. “That might be the truth there because Madonna don’t like white people,” she joked.

“She does not like white people. I mean, she won’t even talk to half of me,” Key threw in.

Key recently appeared during a Tonight Show sketch with Fallon, Justin Timberlake, and Billy Crystal. The Friends From College actor replaced the show’s writer, A.D. Miles, as the camp counselor for the Camp Winnipesaukee bits.
