This Is Us stars receive $250,000 bonuses from NBC, 20th Century Fox TV
- TV Show
The stars of NBC’s feel-good drama This Is Us have something to feel very good about this week: $250,000.
Milo Ventimiglia, Mandy Moore, Sterling K. Brown, and their costars received a hefty bonus check from the network and 20th Century Fox TV, which produces the show, EW has confirmed. The gift was a thank-you for the extraordinary performance of the series to date and a symbol of goodwill for when the actors renegotiate their contracts.
There was much to be thankful for after the family dramedy’s first season. This Is Us was last season’s top-rated new series and No. 1 drama in the 18-to-49 demo. It wasn’t just a ratings success; the show earned 10 Emmy nominations and became the first Big Four drama nominated for an Outstanding Drama Series Emmy in six years.
The network and studio declined to comment.
Variety first reported the news.
This Is Us returns to NBC for season 2 on Sept. 26.
