Game of Thrones: IKEA shows us how to make Jon Snow's shag carpet cape
In case you haven’t heard, Jon Snow shops at IKEA because just like you and me, secret Targaryens who come back from the dead also like a good deal on home furnishings.
Last week, it was revealed that the Game of Thrones costume designers threw an IKEA rug onto Kit Harington to transform him into a member of the Night’s Watch (we guessed it was a TEJN). Well, Halloween is coming sooner than you think, so thankfully IKEA has given us step-by-step instructions on how to turn a $14.99 TEJN rug that you’re likely to find on the floor of a college dorm room into Jon Snow’s cape:
Just cut a hole in the center of your TEJN (or similar shag carpet) and voilà! You now have the exclusive IKEA item Vinter Skuldervarmer (get it?).
