Jimmy Kimmel unloaded on Donald Trump during Wednesday’s Jimmy Kimmel Live!, blasting the president for his rhetoric against North Korea and joking Trump is “an egomaniac dictator in charge of an arsenal of nuclear weapons.”

“At 7:56 a.m., the president tweets, ‘My first order as President was to renovate and modernize our nuclear arsenal. It is now far stronger and more powerful than ever before…'” Kimmel said. “And now, after he tweets this totally untrue statement he makes us wait seven minutes before ‘…Hopefully, we will never have to use this power, but there will never be a time that we are not the most powerful nation in the world!'”

“You can get away with the dot dot dot stuff when you’re tweeting about CNN or Rosie O’Donnell, but Kim Jong Un, in the time between those tweets, Kim Jong Un could have a nuclear missile half way to my house,” Kimmel joked. “This is not dot dot dot time, it’s not not not, is what I’m saying.”

Kimmel also took Trump to task for his statement earlier this week that North Korea would be met with “fire and fury like the world has never seen” if it continued to escalate its nuclear weapon efforts. (It was later revealed Trump improvised that remark.)

“The idea we should have no concerns about the fact that our president is saying he’s going to reign ‘fire and fury’ on North Korea? If our president was Daenerys Targaryen, I’d have no concerns. But she’s not, he is, so I do have concerns,” Kimmel said. After discussing the difficulty U.S. presidents have had dealing with North Korea over the years, Kimmel added, “We cannot afford to have an unstable, unpredictable, egomaniac dictator in charge of an arsenal of nuclear weapons. And Kim Jong Un needs to be stopped too.”
