The saga of the Russian royal family grows ever bigger. Amazon announced Tuesday that Aaron Eckhart (Sully) is the latest actor to join Mad Men creator Matthew Weiner’s upcoming anthology series, The Romanoffs. Each episode of the series will be directed by Weiner.

Though details are still scarce, the series will tell different stories across the globe about modern-day people who think they’re descended from the Russian royal family. The deposed royals were infamously executed by the Soviet government in 1918, but rumors have swirled ever since about their exact fate and whether there were any survivors. But given how Mad Men relished in deconstructing the mythical facade of ’60s America, it’s unlikely that The Romanoffs will end up being an Anastasia-style fairy tale. In addition, the fact that the name is here spelled with ‘f’ instead of the more common ‘v’ may indicate not all is as it seems with these characters.

Eckhart joins a stellar cast that already includes Mad Men stars Christina Hendricks and John Slattery, alongside Isabelle Huppert (Elle) and Amanda Peet (Togetherness).
