You gotta have this exclusive first look at Netflix’s She’s Gotta Have It.

A contemporary update on Spike Lee’s classic 1986 debut film, this 10-episode series follows Nola Darling (Shots Fired‘s DeWanda Wise), a twentysomething Brooklyn-based artist, as she tries to define herself and split her time equally between her friends, her job, and her three lovers. Lee directed the entire first season and served as an executive producer alongside Tonya Lewis Lee, his wife.

In the images below, you’ll see Nola spending some quality time with the three men in her life.

First up, we have former model Greer Childs. Portrayed by Cleo Anthony (Extant, Transparent), Greer is a successful photographer who longs for an artists’ life.

Here, we see Nola with Jamie Overstreet (Mary Kills People‘s Lyriq Bent), a very protective investment banker who brings some stability to the outspoken and unapologetic artist’s life.

And last, but not least, there’s Mars Blackmon, a.k.a. Da Original B-Boy Sneakerhead, the role Lee originated in his breakout film. Here, Mars is played by Hamilton’s Anthony Ramos.

She’s Gotta Have It — which is also produced by Barry Michael Cooper and Lynn Nottage — premieres Nov. 23 on Netflix.
