You know him as the country crooner who once sung about a girl who’s like “a holey pair of jeans,” but now you can add Comedy Rodeo Master to Brad Paisley’s résumé.

Thursday, Netflix dropped the trailer for Brad Paisley’s Comedy Rodeo, a comedy special that promises to be “a little bit country and a whole lotta fun.” Paisley is joined onstage by comedians Nate Bargatze, John Heffron, Jon Reep, Sarah Tiana, and Mike E. Winfield.

The special was filmed in Nashville as a part of the Wild West Comedy Festival, where Paisley took the stage as both comedian and country singer while also playfully reprimanding a couple audience members for having their phones out.

Paisley taking the lead on a stand-up stage is certainly a surprise, as he’s recognized for his classic country love songs; in the words of Comedy Rodeo special guest star David Hasselhoff: “You’re doing stand-up now?”

Brad Paisley’s Comedy Rodeo will be available to stream Tuesday, Aug. 15. Watch the trailer above.
