The musician and former 'Drake & Josh' star says there are 'no hard feelings' between the two

Drake Bell is having a change of heart after saying last month in a now-deleted tweet that “ties are officially cut” with former costar Josh Peck, who didn’t invite him to his June 17 wedding in Malibu, California.

In a Facebook Live interview with Entertainment Tonight, the Drake & Josh star and musician expressed regret for taking his frustration and hurt feelings public.

“I’d been talking to him, and he’s been telling me about the engagement,” Bell explained. “And then I saw on social media the wedding and I didn’t hear about it. So, it was just one of those things where it was just like, You didn’t even tell me?! I had to find out on social media? And then you’re like, You know what?! Fine! and then I’m like, Wait, I probably shouldn’t have done that.”

Regarding that tweet, the 31-year-old said he “should have just texted that to him,” agreeing with ET‘s Sophie Schillaci that he “was just being cranky.”

After Peck’s wedding to longtime girlfriend Paige O’Brien, Bell turned to Twitter, saying in a series of tweets (all deleted), “When you’re not invited to the wedding the message is clear…. Loyalty is key… ALWAYS remember where you came from … True colors have come out today. Message is loud and clear. Ties are officially cut. I’ll miss you brotha.”

“We’ve gone through every up and down that you can think of that two guys can go through,” Bell told ET, attributing his rant to a moment of “sibling rivalry” and adding that they have since talked. “It is what it is. I love the kid. I would work with him until I’m 80, you know? I wanna make Grumpy Old Men with the guy. I wanna make The Odd Couple when we’re old, you know? So no hard feelings. It’s just, when you’ve been so close to somebody for so long, I mean, there’s just certain things that, you know, ‘Hey why’d you do that? C’mon man.'”
