Well, this is certainly the stuff of nightmares.

American Horror Story finally revealed the title of its next installment, Cult, on Thursday night — and now comes the first teaser.

Appropriately, the quick spot feels almost like a recruitment video for a really creepy organization with a fondness for white face paint and red noses.

“Do you ever feel alone?” intones the spot’s narrator. “Does it seem like no one really understands you? Do some people just make you sick? Are you afraid? We can set you free. We will make you strong. We want you.”

Co-creator Ryan Murphy revealed a bunch of new details on Twitter about Cult, including that it will bring back Mare Winningham and Frances Conroy and provide Evan Peters his biggest AHS role to date. Peters will play a character named Kai while Sarah Paulson is Ally. The new season, which Murphy previously teased will take place shortly after the 2016 election, is set in Michigan.

AHS: Cult will premiere Sept. 5 at 10 p.m. on FX.

An anthology series that centers on different characters and locations, including a haunted house, an insane asylum, a witch coven, a freak show and a hotel.
