A Lannister is sending his regards to the Simpsons family.

Game of Thrones star Nikolaj Coster-Waldau will lend his voice to an upcoming episode of The Simpsons, EW has learned exclusively.

Coster-Waldau’s other credits include Black Hawk Down, Wimbledon, New Amsterdam, and Gods of Egypt. He currently can be seen in season 7 of Thrones, which kicked off July 17. Later this summer, he’ll be in theaters with the prison drama Shot Caller. He has also signed on to star in the Brian De Palma-directed thriller Domino.

The Simpsons has tipped its comedy cap to Game of Thrones on occasion, including a spoof of the show’s opening credits in a season 23 couch gag. Thrones star Carice van Houten popped up three seasons ago as Milhouse’s Dutch cousin, and Selman hopes that more Thrones actors will find their way to Springfield. “We would love to have all of them — hopefully we don’t wait too long before they’re all killed,” quips Selman. “They’re all terrific. Peter Dinklage has an amazing voice. We’re just nerds who want to meet our nerd heroes.”

Season 29 of The Simpsons, which will feature the voices of Ed Sheeran, Shaq, and Norman Lear, begins Oct. 1.
