Meme-famous Dancing Pumpkin Man returns to America's Got Talent
After barely squeaking past his first audition in June, the Dancing Pumpkin Man returned to America's Got Talent for round 2.
The Nebraska-based 42-year-old, who only goes by "Jack," initially won the hearts of judges Howie Mandel and Mel B, with Heidi Klum and Simon Cowell standing in the way of sending him through. After the "internet meme legend"‘s awkward but hilarious dance routine to "Somebody's Watching Me," Mel B took to the stage to convince one of the judges to change their vote to a yes.
For Round 2 this week, Jack is back. After comedian and guest judge Chris Hardwick recognized the performer from his internet fame, Cowell asked what new material the pumpkin man is bringing to the table. "Well, as you can see, I've added this cape," he jokes, before diving into a dance routine set to "What Is Love," filled with head-bopping and all. The major wow-factor of the performance was a costume reveal of RuPaul's Drag Race proportions: ripping off his black morph-suit and uncovering another morph-suit, purple and bedazzled.
He inspires Hardwick to fist pump, but will he inspire the judges to send him on to the next round?
