Jon Stewart takes over Jimmy Kimmel's interview with teen fan
Where in the world is Jon Stewart? He’s not on ESPN, he’s not presenting an award at the ESPYs, and, more surprisingly, he’s not on his favorite hang-out spot, The Late Show, talking politics with Stephen Colbert. He’s on Jimmy Kimmel Live and he has a bone to pick with its host and 13-year-old guest Will.
Will caught Kimmel’s eye when he threw a unique Jimmy Kimmel Live-themed bar mitzvah, complete with a replica of the talk show set. So the late-night personality had him on the real show, via telecast, to bask in his praise — and that’s when Stewart stepped in.
“You probably had your choice of idolizing any talk-show host and you could’ve gone with a Jew,” the Daily Show vet joked. Stewart further roasted Kimmel for his “learned-looking beard” and “puffy, sad eyes.”
“He’s not rabbinical,” he said. “He’s just unhealthy.” Stewart added, “Will, wouldn’t you rather idolize a talk-show host who is also circumcised? Wouldn’t you rather? He’s not! Will, I don’t know how to put this. I don’t know how the kids say it: He’s still wearing his hoodie. Do you see what I’m saying?”
