Nearly two weeks after Corinne Olympios announced she would not be returning to season 4 of Bachelor in Paradise, she has released a statement announcing her appearance on the Bachelor in Paradise reunion special.
The fourth season of the Bachelor/Bachelorette spin-off — which ABC announced Wednesday will premiere Aug. 14 and 15 at 8 p.m. ET — has received a lot of attention after production was halted in June to investigate allegations of misconduct on set. After the cast was sent home, Warner Bros. investigated an alleged sexual encounter between contestants DeMario Jackson and Olympios, an investigation that found no misconduct.
Production then resumed, with neither Jackson nor Olympios returning to finish out the season. However, Jackson recently revealed he will appear in the Paradise reunion special. And according to Olympios’ recent statement, she will join him on stage. “I am very happy to be appearing on the Bachelor In Paradise Special,” Olympios’ said in a short statement.
Season 4 of Bachelor in Paradise will premiere later this summer.
