Westworld scoop: The Leftovers actress cast in season 2
Westworld (TV series)

Finally, some new fresh Westworld news!
EW has learned HBO’s acclaimed sci-fi thriller has cast Katja Herbers as a season 2 cast member. She’s previously had arcs on The Leftovers, The Americans, and Manhattan.
While based on that photo above, Herbers looks like she could easily pass for a host, the actress actually plays Grace, “a seasoned guest in Westworld whose latest visit comes at the park’s darkest hour.” (Though, you know, she could also be a host — you just never know with this show.)
Also, a production update: Westworld season 2 will start filming this month. There’s no premiere date yet set, however, with the series from creators Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy not expected until sometime in 2018. With the eighth-and-final season of Game of Thrones potentially not airing until 2019, we could end up getting Westworld and GoT trading off years as HBO’s signature genre drama.
Previously, EW reported that Talulah Riley (who played the host Angela the first season) and Louis Herthum (whom we first met as Dolores’ father, Peter Abernathy) have been bumped to series regulars for the next season.
Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy's ambitious sci-fi thriller is based on the 1973 Michael Crichton film of the same name.
