The Pretty Little Liars finale really outdid itself. Not only did it reveal the identity of A.D., but it gave viewers a happy ending for just about everyone involved. Well, all the good guys at least.

And for a show that has been a social media favorite for years, it’s no surprise that “‘Til DeAth Do Us Part” was a hit on Twitter. EW can exclusively reveal that the series finale was the most tweeted-about episode of television so far this year. The finale had more than 1.7 million tweets globally, with the biggest Twitter moment surrounding the reveal of Alex Drake, Spencer’s twin.

The finale, however, did not beat out the most tweeted PLL episode of all time, which remains 2015’s season 6 finale, “Game Over, Charles.”
