On the first day of summer, HBO is reminding us that winter is right around the corner. The network released its second major Game of Thrones trailer for the upcoming season 7. The action-packed new footage includes Jaime Lannister (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau) riding into battle, some monster dragon action, shots of a sea battle, and the return of The Night King.

“For centuries our families fought together against their common enemy,” declares Jon Snow. “We need to do the same if we’re going to survive.”

While Sansa Stark forebodingly intones, “When the snows fall, and the white wind blows, the lone wolf dies, but the pack survives…”

Thrones returns in July for seven episodes on HBO. As EW previously reported, HBO is working on a plan for the show’s final season and potential prequel series, the upcoming season set more actors on fire than any production in Hollywood history, critics won’t be getting episodes in advance again this year (to reduce the likelihood of leaks), and the new season will have the show’s longest episode ever.
