Lady Gaga and Debbie Harry have sashayed their way onto the RuPaul's Drag Race runway in the past, but Liza Minnelli (perhaps the most prominent gay icon alive) has yet to make an appearance on the long-running reality series… until this week's episode.
Well, sort of.
For the perennial fan favorite Snatch Game challenge, which sees 10 remaining drag queen competitors embodying their favorite celebrities as contestants on a mock version of Match Game, Alexis Michelle — who last week channeled her best Kris Jenner for a Kardashian-themed musical performance — taps into the spirit of jazz (hands and all) for a spot-on impersonation of the Cabaret star in EW's exclusive clip below. <iframe src="//media.mtvnservices.com/embed/mgid:arc:video:logotv.com:5fa2b5eb-ca14-4982-8a7f-89ccde89bceb" width="512" height="288" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen="" class="" scrolling="no" resize="0" replace_attributes="1" name=""></iframe>箚ã×Ñþ_×Æ»s‡}Û}ÙœÓ^ôßßvw_<
"The new American Horror Story is going to be the scariest one yet. It takes place in Lady Bunny's blank," RuPaul asks guest star and AHS alum Denis O'Hare, who finishes the sentence by answering: "It takes place in her wig."
Combing the panel of contestants — including Trinity Taylor's Amanda Lepore and Sasha Velour's Marlene Dietrich — for a potential match, RuPaul lands on Michelle, who offers a hilarious response.
"I said Lady Bunny's palace, because there's nothing like playing The Palace," she says, referencing Broadway's Palace Theatre. "Mama played The Palace, and I sat right in the fourth row, Ru. She sang right to me… and to all the other homosexuals."
