The day after Ivanka Trump was officially given a job in the White House, Stephen Colbert weighed in on “Bring Your Daughter to Govern Day.”

On Thursday’s Late Show, the host addressed Donald Trump’s daughter becoming the president’s “eyes and ears,” prompting Colbert to quip, “No word yet on who will be operating his brain.”

The news comes shortly after the president appointed his son-in-law Jared Kushner to head the Office of American Innovation, where he will oversee a broad effort to overhaul the federal government.

“I’m not sure who is doing what in the White House with all these things split up,” said Colbert, before pulling up the faux White House chore wheel. “Okay, this week, Ivanka’s on domestic policy, Jared’s on foreign policy, and looks like the president is loading the dishwasher again. It’s a big responsibility.”
