No one is safe from the nefarious doings underway in Fargo, as we have seen so far in two seasons of FX’s anthology crime/comedy series based on the 1996 Coen Brothers movie. In a tweet Sunday night, the show unveiled a new teaser showcasing the cast for season 3, exclaiming, “So, #Fargo’s got some new faces, eh?”

Amongst those faces is Ewan McGregor’s, in two different roles, looking completely unrecognizable. This is the Scottish actor’s first foray in television in a long while (except for a brief appearance as himself on HBO’s Doll & Em last year), fresh from playing Lumiere in the current world-dominating Beauty and the Beast and revisiting the mayhem of Trainspotting in the sequel, T2 Trainspotting.

Other notable actors set to investigate (and surely commit various unspeakable acts) in the frosty wilderness of North Dakota are David Thewlis, Michael Stuhlbarg, and Mary Elizabeth Winstead, who gets points for the most quotable line of the trailer, “Unfathomable pinheadery!”

Fargo returns on FX on April 19. Watch the clip above.

Inspired by the 1996 Coen brothers film, ‘Fargo’ is a “true crime” story set in small-town Minnesota. A chance meeting between mild-mannered insurance salesman Lester Nygaard (Martin Freeman) and drifter Lorne Malvo (Billy Bob Thornton) sets into motion a series of dark events that involves murder, blackmail, and the mob.
