Alyssa Milano has been cast in The CW’s drama pilot about a lawyer-turned-beauty pageant coach.

Titled Insatiable, the pilot centers on Bob (Dallas Roberts), a “disgraced, dissatisfied civil lawyer” who becomes a beauty pageant coach, according to the show’s logline. Charmed and Mistresses alumna Milano will play Bob’s wife, Coralee, a social climber — a recurring role if Insatiable is picked up to series. Debby Ryan will play Patty, Bob’s “vengeful, bullied” teenage client.

“So excited about sharing this news I’m spitting!” Milano wrote on Twitter along with the announcement.

The pilot is based on real-life Southern lawyer and pageant coach Bill Alverson, according to Deadline, and comes from writer/executive producer Lauren Gussis (Dexter), director Andrew Fleming, Ryan Seacrest Productions, Storied Media Group, and CBS TV Studios.

Milano is slated to appear in Netflix’s Wet Hot American Summer: 10 Years Later later this year. Deadline first reported her casting.
