Spoiler: The girls do not have a taste for foie gras
A new series that showcases what it means to list “twin” as your profession is coming to Freeform on March 20, and EW has an exclusive sneak peek.
Bachelor Nation favorites — and twins — Haley and Emily Ferguson are set to star in their own spin-off show after stints on both Ben Higgins’ season of The Bachelor and Bachelor in Paradise season 3. The double act also made several appearances on The Bachelor spin-off Ben and Lauren: Happily Ever After? The new show, however, is less about the sisters dating and finding love than it is about the duo embracing adult life as they finally move out of their mom’s house at age 24.
In the clip from The Twins: Happily Ever After? the girls are equal parts dumbfounded and disgusted by an array of fine cuisine they’re tasting for the first time at dinner with Higgins and fiancée, Lauren Bushnell. They sample salmon and fear they will contract salmonella from doing so; the choke on foie gras (or “liver” as they call it); they have trouble stomaching beef tartare, and they spit up their octopus. “We’re trying here, right, girls?” encourages Higgins, who’s just impressed they’re putting something in their mouths before spitting it out again. “That’s a start to life.”
Neither twin can resist the innuendo, with Emily flat out saying exactly what she’d rather put in her mouth (cue appalled looks from fellow diners in the restaurant). You can use your imagination or watch the clip above to find out what she said.
The Twins: Happily Ever After? premieres Monday, March 20 at 9 p.m. ET on Freeform.
