RuPaul’s Drag Race is revving up one of its fiercest guest lists to date.
EW can exclusively reveal Lisa Kudrow, Cheyenne Jackson, Meghan Trainor, Kesha, The B-52s, Naya Rivera, Andie MacDowell, Tori Spelling, Jennie Garth, Denis O’Hare, Noah Galvin, Todrick Hall, Tamar Braxton, Lisa Robertson, Joan Smalls, Candis Cayne, Fortune Feimster, and Jeffrey Bowyer-Chapman will take seats on the reality competition series’ judging panel across its upcoming ninth season.
Pop superstar Lady Gaga was previously announced as season 9’s first major guest. She is set to appear across the full season opener as the Emmy-winning show makes the jump from Logo to VH1 for the first time later this month.
“There’s an ease and familiarity that is apparent when you watch her,” RuPaul told EW of Gaga’s Drag Race stint. “We had a fabulous time with Gaga. She was in heaven because this is all so much a part of her wheelhouse and what she does with imagery, costumes, and the way she presents herself.”
This season, 13 queens will compete to become America’s Drag Superstar, a title bestowed by permanent judges Michelle Visage, Carson Kressley, Ross Mathews, and RuPaul.
In EW’s exclusive season 9 trailer above, Gaga belts the chorus to RuPaul’s signature hit “Supermodel,” Kesha sizes up the contestants’ runway looks, and Kudrow enters the work room serving full Valerie Cherish realness as she spouts the Comeback character’s signature “Hello, hello, hello!” greeting.
RuPaul’s Drag Race premieres Friday, March 24 at 8 p.m. ET on VH1.
